Background

 

Joined the then Television Service of Oyo State on 7^th April, 1982 as Producer II.  A native of OYAN in Odo-Otin Local Government of Osun State, Nigeria.  Born on 16^th September in the year 1957 in Abeokuta, capital of the present Ogun State of Nigeria.

 

He attended African Chruch Primary School Isale Ijebu, Osogbo, St. Charles Grammar School Osogbo.  The Polytechnic, Ibadan and University of Ife where he obtained B.A. (Hons) Philosophy second  Class Upper division.

 

As a Producer and Presenter  of high repute, he has produced and presented many good and attractive entertainment and public enlightenment programme sponsored by reputable companies and organizations.  Amongst are ARELU-a popular television  13 weeks Yoruba drama serial; YANPONYANRIN – a popular television 13 weeks Yoruba serial, AROBA – another popular television 13 weeks Yoruba drama serial; ARIYA – a live radio performance; AYE REE – an ombudsman programe on radio; DANRAWO – a live television audience participatory programme and so on.

 

He has written many publications, articles and papers on programme presentation and production.

 

Also, he was the pioneer Station Manager of ORISUN F.M. 89.5 F.M. Ile-Ife, a purely YORUBA speaking station which started operation on 1^st January, 2005.  Within few months of is existence, ORISUN F.M. 89.5, a unique station was widely accepted by all and sundry because of the good entertainment and qualitative public enlightenment programmes coming out from the channel.

 

A member of Egbe Akomolede Yoruba (Osun State Branche), he has received many awards of excellence and corporate commendations for noble and selfless contribution towards the production and presentation of programme on Radio and Television.

 

Married to Oluwatoyin Adeyemo (nee Oladesu) currently a teacher.  The marriage is blessed with two promising children.

 

At present, he is the Director of O.S.B.C. Ventures, a subsidiary of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, Oke-Baale, Osogbo.
